The Impact Program was designed:
- to create opportunities for our young people to explore who they are as learners and individuals, how they relate to others and how to plan for their future.
- to create shared time across cohorts to engage in learning that fosters key elements of student development –
- connectedness,
- learning habits,
- pathways planning and employability skills
The IMPACT Program strives to develop our young people as a whole beyond the classroom.
Common themes undertaken in IMPACT include:
- Respectful Relationships
- Study Skills
- Careers
- Wellbeing
- Elevate Education
- School Wide Positive Behaviour Support
In the senior years this time also allows for students to participate in SACs to minimize disruption to class time.
This shared time is also used for Year Level Assemblies which celebrate student success in learning and extracurricular activities.
The IMPACT Program runs every week for Years 10-12 students and fortnightly for students in Years 7-9.
