YEAR 7 CAMP REPORT Student Report
Building strong and healthy relationships with students and staff is an important part of the daily high school life. Year 7 camp is a perfect way to build those bonds at the beginning of the school of the school year. At camp the new Year 7 students were given the opportunity to mix with peers that soon became friendly faces.
On Wednesday the 14th February everyone was exited for the days to come; gathering at school we prepared for the short drive to ….Camp Toolangi! When we arrived we split up into cabin groups and got ready for the first, memorable activity. For many it was an independent challenge climbing the rock wall and high ropes, or gliding on the flying fox. For others, it was team building games such as hut building, orienteering and initiative activities. We tested our skills and challenged ourselves with the obstacle course and archery. At the end of an amazing few days it was sad to say goodbye, but we are ready with newly found confidence and readiness for the year to come.
A big thanks to Mr Forbes for making it all possible and to the team of teachers who gave up their time to be with us.
